Williams Torches the Wizards
Nineteen days ago, Deron Williams watched the NBA All-Star game from the sidelines as the Eastern Conference coaches opted to nominate two younger point guards to the team. Commissioner David Stern then passed him over as an injury replacement for Rajon Rondo.

Brooklyn Retains Franchise Centerpiece
The Nets will debut in Brooklyn with a pair of All-Stars in their backcourt. Point guard Deron Williams has rejected an opportunity to play in his hometown of Dallas to remain with the Nets after signing a five-year $98 million deal.
