Boston point guard Rajon Rondo broke his left hand after falling in his home and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks recovering from the injury.

Rondo is entering the final year of his contract and his latest injury may accelerate Boston’s desire to trade him.

Along with the Celtics, New Orleans is already having to deal with injuries, as Tyreke Evans is expected to miss three-to-five weeks after injuring his hamstring will playing pickup basketball.

The leg injury will likely force the 25-year-old to miss training camp, but he could be in the starting lineup when the Pelicans open the season against Orlando on Oct. 28.

In our latest podcast, we discuss the impact of these injuries and discuss the play of a few point guards in fantasy basketball.
